This practical and hands on reflective practice anti-bias kit is all about understanding and reflecting on environments, resources and communication within an early childhood setting.
The kit has many focus areas including books, dramatic play, dolls, blocks/construction, sand play, visual displays, interactions with children, educators and families and includes a range of readings and suggestions for further reading and ongoing learning; thinking sheets, evaluation sheets and goal setting; and an improvement plan.
This resource has been developed over many years by Down to Earth’s very own Managing Director, Molly Rhodin. Designed to support reflective practice and the principles of anti-bias curriculums in early childhood education and care and was endorsed by Molly’s dear friend and colleague, the late Elizabeth Dau, editor, ‘The Anti-Bias Approach in Early Childhood’ first and second editions.
The kit includes a range of reading and suggestions for further reading and ongoing learning; thinking sheets, evaluation sheets and goal setting; and an improvement plan.
