Onsite Professional Learning

We know every service, educator and director is different, that's why so many people come to us for professional development to support and grow services capacity, building and learning. So we take it you are looking for help to meet quality standards, improve your documentation (without the drama), maybe even understand some behaviour, or maybe you are about to establish a new service?

Being based in Canberra makes it easy for us to travel anywhere in Australia, because we own a car and Canberra actually has an airport!

New Workshops

Sussing Out Summative Assessments:

A requirement within the NQF and an expectation of educators. Summative Assessments are often a nightmare of what to write, how to write and how to be organised to keep on top of Summative Assessments.

This workshop will take you to a refreshing and creative place showing you how easy it can and should be. You will have a diverse range of hard copy examples to take away, providing a handy reference and style guide for you of possibilities for you to consider, ensuring you feel supported.

Like Most Down to Earth workshops, this session will be fun, creative and will have you feeling even more empowered than ever.

  • Lead-a-sheep, is leadersheep killing the art of leadership?:  What has influenced your leadership style? Are you keeping up with the Jones', do you need to? This PD session will reflect on education and care leadership over the last 30 years, what has had a major impact on us and what influences are hovering. Discussion about the future and how to get there are definitely on the agenda.

  • A child Centred Approach:  Has your team reflected on their understanding and visions of children's play and learning lately? How important is the value of play in your setting? Are parts of your curriculum too adult directed?  Consider a reflection session on aspects of a child centred approach which includes some real and raw voices from children.
